Skya’s journey is heartfelt, truly showing the power of our community. Skya and several other dogs were brought to Oklahoma City from the streets of Mexico. A local Oklahoma resident was visiting Mexico and saw this pack running loose without food, water, or collars and being hit by thrown rocks. This amazing person brought them all back to Oklahoma, and Skya quickly joined our program, and the others found other rescues to assist! She was a perfect lady despite her situation and was a calm and collected pup. We quickly got her vetted and made sure she was healthy! Once we got the all-clear, Skya went up for adoption, and it did not take long. Skya’s new family quickly found her and brought her into their home. They have been one big happy family ever since!
