Millie joined our program with the help of another rescue trapping her. She was heavily pregnant and temperatures were freezing.
This sweet momma gave birth her first night in her foster home the day before Thanksgiving to gorgeous and healthy puppies. While we thought Millie’s difficulties were over, she ended up with a severe infection at the base of her tail. Our vets recommended a tail amputation and it was quickly performed. After extensive healing and lots of time at the vet, Millie got a clean bill of health. This was not before stealing her foster family’s heart. They quickly adopted her and Millie has officially found her furever home!
